Sue Ellen Addicott brings over 30 years of experience in organization and management to Senior Moves. A graduate of The College of William and Mary, she has worked as a teacher, a dental office manager, an executive assistant, and as Director of Conferences for Educom, a non-profit association in Washington, D.C.
In 2000, Sue Ellen and her siblings assisted their parents in a move from their home into an independent living facility, and Sue Ellen saw first-hand the emotions that her parents experienced with this process. Her parents have since passed on, and now Sue Ellen considers it her calling and privilege to assist other seniors in making the transition into smaller living quarters.
Sue Ellen has undergone intensive training in senior move management, and is eager to use her experience, talents and skills to make your move as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
A member of the Board of Directors of ITN (Independent Transportation Network) Sarasota and chair of their Financial Development Committee, Sue Ellen has also served on the Advisory Council of the Area Agency on Aging and is active in the Sarasota County Aging Network and the Manasota Health Care Network. She is co-host of the local AM radio program, "Senior Savvy," broadcast on WTMY 1280 from noon until 1 pm every Saturday.
